Blogging, another diversion to my already strangled schedule or do I really have something useful to share? Mostly this will be about the myriad of wargaming projects I undertake with reading rules, painting miniatures, and building tables to play games on with occasional ventures into movies, books, music, an occasional mention of old video games. The Erotic Spinning Bird Kick? Well, I fell out of video games for awhile until I saw Street Fighter II and well, Chun-Li was my favorite character and during the hey day of my return to role playing games after that teenage hiatus it was the main game I was dropping hard earned quarters into before meeting up for roleplaying later.
Current project is getting ready for Skirmish '10 in Plano, a small one day wargaming convention put on by the the DFW Irregulars this July. Game for this year is another one of my alien invasion scenarios only this time I'm switching rules from Astounding Tales 2nd Edition to using Golgo Island 2nd Edition rules to run the game. Currently I'm revamping my urban board, adding zombies to the mix, and painting up even more outlandish characters to take on the alien menace in what promises to be a game of mayhem and fun.
Posts to come should cover painting the miniatures, building the terrain, with how-to's, current progress, and all that jazz. Coming shortly will be the outlandishly positive review I wrote for Golgo Island as I'm just currently having quite the romantic affair with that game. A secondary game of Doctor Who is in the works and I'll be going at length about development of that game as well.
